Personal Computer Biography

It seems with people today everyone have some form of interaction with a type of computer on a daily bases. I personally am the same way, and it seems like I have to use different forms of technology to simply get through the day. I had been exposed to computers in school from an early age. As young as kindergarten we had to go to the computer lab once or twice a week for computer class, and during library we would use a computer to do accelerated reader. Once I started getting older we would use the computer and internet much more at school to do other things. My family got their first personal computer when I was in the third grade, but I was only allowed to use it for about an hour a day. As the years went on and I got older and more responsible my parents "loosened the leash", and let me have more time on the computer. I would use it just like any other average kid. I would play games, chat on MSN, check my e-mail, and a few other things. To this day I still do some of those things but I also use my computer to check grades, do homework, and check facebook. I also use other forms of technology on a daily bases. The first thing I do every morning when I wake up is check my blackberry for new e-mails or text messages, and I continue to use it through out the day. My phone goes everywhere with me and if I don't have it with me I feel awkward. I also use technology at work in various ways. I work at Wal-Mart so many aspects of my job involve technology. I have to use computers to request time off, do computer based learning (CBL'S) modules, as well as clock in and out at the beginning and end of my shift. I also use a telzon (hand held scanner) on a regular bases to do various tasks such as locating stores which have items that we are out of stock, checking prices, putting things away in the back room, and locating items in the back room. So as one can see I am just like a regular person in today's society with the use of technology.
